On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, several personalities from governmental and private institutions in the city of Zakho visited the University of Zakho. The visit was to extend congratulations to Prof. Dr. Diyar Abdulkareem Saeed on his appointment as the new president of the university. They celebrated the occasion of the leadership transition and were warmly welcomed by the university president.

In addition to offering their congratulations, the visiting delegations expressed their well wishes for success to the new president of Zakho University. They also emphasized their readiness to cooperate and support efforts in areas related to media and communications.

1. Mr. Khalid Anwar Amin, the Head of the Forest and Environment Police in Zakho, along with his delegation, visited Zakho University. 

2. Pastor Hakobus Isahakia, the pastor of the Armenian Church in Zakho.

3. David Mardirosian, the Head of the Armenian Community Organization in Zakho.

4. Mr. Asaad Mohammed Khalid, the Head of the General Administration Directorate of Zakho.

5. Mr. Latif Osman Ismail, the Head of the Zakho Chamber of Commerce.
